It's Great to be Eight!

Eight is such a fun age, especially when it comes to Baptism day!  Tayzia will soon be one of the very newest members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.  I'm so proud of her decision to be baptized and know that it will be an awesome day for her cute family.
I love you cute girl!

Porter Family

What a cute family the Porters are.  And, may I mention what troopers they were as well.  I swear it was the coldest day we've had so far and the kids were all freezing, but they all still managed to smile.
They color coordinated their clothing perfectly and I love how vibrant they all turned out.
I love photographing families that make ME smile.  It sure makes my job fun!
And Jordan...your hands looked awesome!

Sibling Cuteness

Well, I must say that the Mickelsen Kiddo's are dang CUTE!   The three of them were full of smiles, belly laughs, personality, and spunk.  Mom had them dressed them so perfectly and I think she must have bribed them with something wonderful because they were the most well behaved, polite kids I think I've ever met.  We did surprise mom with a few Heisman poses of the boys when she wasn't looking.  A guy has to have a little fun while posing for boring pictures...right?  LOL

Brothers

Hudson and Nash are two of the cutest little guys and believe it or not, they are brothers.  I know, one is fair and blonde with striking blue eys and the other dark, brown eyes with gorgeous olive skin.  Both had darling little personalities full of smiles and giggles.
Mom brought a few of their favorite things for them to be photographed with so they would always remember what they loved at this age.  What an awesome idea!
Here are a few of my favorites...

Rappleye Family

I've sure had a run of cute families lately.  I can't wait to get caught up on my blog posts to show them all.
The Rappleye family is just darling with three of the cutest kiddo's with amazing smiles.  The youngest little guy was a little stingey with his, but the girls knew when to turn them on big!
We happened to catch the fall leaves up Monroe Canyon at just the perfect time.  Doesn't the scenery just set off their jewel toned clothing perfectly?

Nay Family | Richfield Family Photographer

I love photographing the Nay family.  They make me laugh and have me in stitches during the whole session.  They always show up relaxed, smiling, and ready for fun.  That's what a family session should be all about.
I bet one or two of the out-takes will even make their way to their family room wall...they were my favorites too!
Can YOU pick out the characters in the bunch?

Cody & Chelsea = Together Forever

Guess what Cody & Chelsea did on their first anniversary?  Yep, you got it.  They chose to be sealed forever in the St. George LDS Temple.  What a perfect day to do it too...09-10-11.  I bet they will never forget that date!
I was envited to attend their beautiful ceremony and I shed a few tears of joy for them.   Her mom and I share the common crying gene!  And, we're proud of it!  LOL
Thanks Cody and Chelsea for letting me share in your memorable day.

The Black Family | Richfield Family Photographer

I've gotten to photograph this darling little family twice now and can't believe how much these two little angel girls have grown up.  They both have the bluest, pretties eyes and amazing smiles...even with teeth missing!
Dad requested that I leave the cows in the family portraits, but there was one that was nosey and got a little close as we were snapping images.  I had to make her disappear!  LOL  Thank goodness for Photoshop!

Taylor & Jessie | Utah Bridal Photographer

I have to say...Taylor and Jessie's Wedding day was "epic!"  Yes, I guess my new younger friends are telling me that "epic" has now replaced "awesome."  Well, there are not enough awesomely epic words to describe the details that went into this wonderfully planned day.  From a gorgeous bride and very handsome groom to the little details such as yellow cuff links, a beautiful custom hair piece for the bride, a floral purse-like bouquet, and everything in coordinating black, yellow, and white.
Almost everything for the fun reception was hand-made.  From the playful tissue paper puffs and wire wrapped mason jars with candles hanging from the trees, the bread and scrumptous jam served as a special treat for guests, the many wonderful flavors of lemonade, and the quilts and pillows for guests to sit and enjoy a video of the happy couple.  It was a fantastic evening full of many wonderful friends and the joining of two incredible families.
Congratulation Tay and Jess!  I hope the rays of happiness shine on your two forever and ever.  Thanks so much for letting me be a part of your "epic" day!
