Happy Birthday Kenadi

It's not very often that a mom shows up for one year old pictures of her child and brings the perfect clothes and props. Well, Kenadi's mom did! She had made a darling little tutu, had the cutest head band, and a crocheted hat which was to die for. But, the darling details still couldn't compare to Kenadi's amazing blue eyes. This little girl is a beauty and I loved every minute with her.

Jami

I'm not sure I've ever mentioned how much I love LOVE love photographing High School Seniors. They are amazing, fun, and always up for trying new things. Jami travled all the way from Wayne County and braved the frigid weather for her session. She is absolutely beautiful and such a sweet girl. Thanks Jami, I hope you find some you absolutely love LOVE love!

Called to Serve

There are many people that I love and admire and Jim and Shirleen are at the top of that list. Being faithful members of the LDS Church, they have just recently accepted a call to serve in the Nauvoo Temple Mission. They are so blessed to have been called to such a wonderful place. And, equally blessed are the people whom they will serve who will get to witness first hand how wonderful and giving they truly are.

Little Miss Blue Eyes

Meet Alessa, who just turned one. She is the darling daughter of my nephew Trevor and his wife McKelle. Have you ever seen eyes that big and blue before? Wow, I'd give my first born for eyes that gorgeous. (Just kidding Trav!) She is absolutely darling and was so much fun to photograph. Happy Birthday Alessa!

Riley + Brittney

What a great time I had shooting Riley & Brittney's engagement session. You can't believe what they braved to get these awesome images, cold, mud, puffy vests... LOL They are so in love and absolutely perfect for each other. Congratulations guys and thanks for hooking me up with those awesome locations.

Waiting for a Miracle

What a treat it was to get to photograph Julia & Rob while they patiently wait for their new little bundle of joy. This was my first couple brave enough to share the miracle of their pregnancy with me and I'm so thankful they did. They are two beautiful people and I really tried to capture the love they feel for each other and for their new little miracle.

Eden Turns One

Meet Eden, a darling, spunky, blued eyed beauty, who just had her very first birthday. I've gotten to watch her grow from a newborn to a toddler and have loved seeing her little personality develop. You should have heard her devious little laugh that went along with that sassy smile. So much attitued in such a dainty girl. I think she got the best of both mom and dad...watch out guys!

Old Dogs and New Tricks

I remember when my parents reached "that" age when they decided they were too old to keep up with technology and trends. I swore at that time that I would always keep current, dress trendy, and be up to date on the latest fads and electronic gizmos. Well, with each passing year I can see the effort to stay informed and in style gets greater and my need to do so is shrinking. But, being the stubborn Capricorn that I am, I absolutely refuse to reach "that" age.

So, with much diligence and without any help from my children, I have created my own little piece of cyber heaven (or hell, depending on how it works out.) I'm a blogger!
