Cinderella Girls

BayLi, Leah, and Maycie are all Cinderella Girls or I should say they are preparing for the upcoming Cinderella Scholarship Pageant. They needed headshots showing off their beautiful features and boy, they are all just gorgeous. Good luck girls!

Sweet Paizlee

Meet Paizlee. A darling little 15 month old cutie. She was not that into having her picture taken the day she came in. But, with a little patience her mom and I managed to crack her bad mood and we got some awesome images. I could see one of the images as an old-fashioned post card so I worked my photoshop magic and grunged it up. I know I have oodles of favorites, but this is my NEW-all-time-favorite image.

Chasen

I've gotten to photograph Chasen quite a few times and have always had a great time with him trying to get him to not be so serious. Well, imagine his surprise when I told him I really wanted to get some great serious images for his senior portfolio. In fact, I liked the serious ones the best. Here are a few that I hope both he and his mom will love.

MX Moab, Utah

Those of you who know my family know that my children are Motocross Racers. Yes, it's a stressful thing for a mom, especially a mom who want's to see the race and make sure her kids are OK, but also a mom who is a photographer who wants to get killer shots.

Well, the season opener was this weekend in Moab, Utah, which usually has awesome, warm, sunshiney weather. We, on the other hand, had snow, MUD, and MORE MUD. But, the race gods were with us and both Carson and Kenadie kept their bikes upright amid the slipping and sliding. Carson took a 16th place finish, out of 35 racers in the 250 Junior Class and Kenadie finished 2nd in the Powder Puff Class and brought home a huge trophy. Because of the mud, I couldn't get out on the track to get the killer shots I wanted, but I did capture a few to remember the day, and the MUD!

Mis Primera Quinceañera

Meet Diana, who just celebrated her "quince años" or 15th birthday. The fifteenth birthday is a very special day for Latina women and is celebrated with a very symbolic religious ceremony, a wonderful dinner of traditional food, a beautiful choreographed waltz, and a party or reception for friends and family to visit, dance, and congratulate the birthday girl. It was an awesome day and I was so lucky to be a part of it.

Matt & SherRon

It is so much fun to be lucky enough to shoot a wedding where the bride and groom are total characters. Yes, I can honestly say both Matt & SherRon have the best sense of humor, they loved things to look a little different, edgy, retro, and FUN! These images don't even come close in showing what a great time and wonderful wedding and reception these two lovebirds had. Here are just a few of the fun details. It was a blast!
