Hands
I once had someone tell me that you can tell a person's worth by their hands. He picked up my hands with my worn, unmanicured nails and said that he could tell I was a hard worker. I was embarrassed, but soon found he was offering a compliment. I started inspecting hands as I met people to see if they indeed had the worn, weathered hands of a hard working farmer; the pale, soft hands of an executive, the perfectly manicured hands of someone who is pampered; the thick chubby hands of a toddler. I love hands, all kinds of hands, and was thrilled when the Dalton family wanted a piece of art for their home of only their hands. It's one of my new favorites.
