Jordan | High School Senior Photographer
Well, I've had a run on senior guys lately, which has been fun. Jordan was no exception. Although he only wanted to be photographed in one outfit, I tried to get many different looks. The skateboard on the shoulders was my favorite as I love serious poses.
Colten | High School Senior Photographer
Here are a few images from Colten's high school Senior session. He was awesome to photograph and we had a great time. I can't wait to get some killer baseball images of him in the spring. And, I still can't believe all these guys are graduating this year. Where has the time gone.

The Jolley Family | Richfield Family Photographer
I remember just yesterday when the Jolley's oldest son was getting married. Well, it must have been a little bit longer than yesterday as now all the kids are married and MOST of them are having kids of their own (MOST...hint-hint B...you know who you are..no pressure though!) And, I'm sure grandma & grandpa will agree, they are a dang cute bunch of grandkids. They were even lucky enough to get a set of darling twin girls.
I know I've said it before...but I can't wait to be a grandma! I can only hope to someday have a family portrait this full!

MX - All it Takes is All You've Got
I got to witness my first WORCS race last weekend and I have to say, my eyes were opened...wide. WORCS is Motocross's Western Off Road Championship Series. It is a combination of racing on a motocross track and then a huge loupe through the desert, through thick sand, over rocks, through the river bottoms, and unbelievable long stretches of bumps that beat you to death. Each loupe was about six miles long and the racers had to get in as many laps as they could in one hour, most covering 30 to 40 miles of rough landscape and a very technical motocross track.
I can't even explain how conditioned these riders have to be to even show up to this race. My son Carson, and his two cousins Jim Maxfield and Logan Terry were all brave enough to give it a go. Jim, number 301, racing in the 30+ Pro-A class had a terrific finish of 4th place. Carson and Logan, who completed in the 15-29 C group finished 13th and 7th. Now, just finishing this race is quite an accomplishment and a true test of endurance. There were bikes and riders all along the trail that were casualties to the heat, fatigue, and dust choked, overheated engines.
I have a new admiration for these racers and respect their determination and talent. Way to go guys...you are truly unbelievable.

Tyson + Stephanie | Utah Engagement Photographer
Congratulations to Tyson & Stephanie who are engaged to be married in February. They chose Maple Grove for the location for their engagement portraits and it was absolutely gorgeous. The colors were amazing and it was just a perfect fall day. We had an awesome time as we laughed, cried, and had a ball. Thanks Steph and Tyson...I can't wait for your wedding day.

The Jensen Family | Utah Family Photographer
I recently had the priviledge of photographing the Jensen's. They are the cuttest little family and the little guys had the most gorgeous eyes. I just had to share a few to let you see how darling they all were.

Colton & Nicole's Wedding [Utah Wedding Photographer]
I just have to say that Colton & Nicole know how to do a wedding as theirs was absolutely amazing. The attention to detail was phenomenal...from the table names being military forts that they had both served at, to the beautifully poetic ceremony (I guess you can't call the grooms men's huddle in the middle poetic, but it sure did spice things up!), to the goegeous floral designs provided by Olga Goddard's Plant & Floral Design, and the outstanding event planning and catering by Forevermore Events. From beginning to the Party Bus at the end, it was truly spectacular. Thanks Colton & Nicole for letting me be a part of your celebration.

Sedona
I just got back from a great little getaway. My friend Jodi turned 50 this weekend and she has always wanted to visit the enchanted land of Sedona, Arizona. So we hopped in the car, and took off on a girlfriend trip. It was amazing. Images of Sedona could never do justice to the beautiful landscapes, sunsets, and red rock country. It was simply stunning and had such a peaceful energy to it that you can't help but fall in love with.
While waiting for a sunset photo op, this beautiful white fluffy cloud rose from the dark rain clouds and was adorned with iridescent colors. As it rose it took the shape of an angel with colors on her heart and wings. It was truly a sign that we were being blessed and protected while there. We later learned that the color phenomenon was actually sun dogs.
A wild jeep ride took us across rocky trails to scenic lookouts where I got to capture a minuscule part of the beauty that we got to witness. Here are just a few of my favorites.
