Colton | Central Utal Portrait Photographer

I still remember the very first time I met Colton.  My son Carson had brought him over to our house to "hang out."  Well, hanging out consisted of...
swinging my cat by it's tail,
wrestling and knocking over furniture,
being loud and obnoxious,
and eating everything in the pantry.
I remember telling Carson not to invite him over again.
A lot of good that did...I think he was over every day for the next year or two as they became great friends.  Our families got to be good friends as well as we cheered the boys on at motocross races, followed them all over the dusty hills of Cainville,  made frequest ER and hopsital visits to offer comfort and chastisement, and us mom's trying to keep the girls away.  I often wonder what our families would have missed out on if Carson would have minded me that very first day.   I think they both knew they needed a friend and mom needed to chill.

My how things can change in just a few years.  Colton has gone from full of mischief to a fine young man who is anxiously awaiting his mission call to spend the next two years serving  the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Colton, I couldn't be prouder of you.
You're going to be an amazing missionary and I'm so happy for you and the good choices you've made in your life.  RWH
